3D

This 3D area has interesting links to many samples showing how to work with 3D data using FME.

The FME Data Inspector has been developed specifically for viewing 3D data and allows you to fly and zoom around your data if it is in any format for which FME has a Reader.

Below is the output produced from a process which has taken contour data for two hawaiian islands, Lanai and Molokai, generates TIN surfaces and adds portions of a landsat image as textures to each surface.
