Question

What happened to Oliver’s Corner on the old fmepedia site?

Answer

Oliver’s Python Corner is a tutorial-style article accompanied by sample pyfme Python scripts.

In FME 2012, Safe introduces a new Python FME Objects API to address the many shortcomings of pyfme, including the lack of built-in documentation.  See http://fmepedia.safe.com/articles/How_To/New-Python-FME-Objects-API-in-FME-2012

If you will be continuing to develop with pyfme on FME 2011 and would like to refer to  Oliver’s Python Corner, the full documentation and samples are still available at ftp://ftp.safe.com/fme/pyfme/OliversCorner.zip. Once downloaded and unzipped double-click on "Oliver's Python Corner - fmepedia.htm" to get started.
