What platforms or operating systems is FME Server supported on?

Answer

Below is the list of the platforms or operating systems you can use FME Server on. If you have a choice of platforms we recommend using Windows because more formats are supported by FME on Windows (see the note below) and we have a much larger user base on Windows.

We support FME Server 2012 on:

32-bit Windows;
64-bit Windows;
64-bit Linux*;
Solaris (Sparc only)*;

*Not all formats are supported. For more on which formats are compatible with your platform, see The FME Server Supported Formats Page (http://www.safe.com/products/server/formats/index.php).

Linux 32-bit and AIX are no longer supported but were available in FME Server from 2009 to 2011.
