Symptoms
There are two typical symptoms:
1. If you go to http://www.everyport.net:3389/, you will get the error: "The webpage cannot be displayed".
2. Cannot connect to the Amazon EC2 Instance using Remote desktop.
Cause
Some networks block port 3389. This port is required by Remote Desktop.
The online training course uses an Amazon EC2 instance as the training machine. This EC2 instance is accessed by using Remote Desktop.
Resolution
Remote Desktop requires the use of port 3389. Please ask your IT Manager to ensure that port 3389 is not blocked.
You can test your ability to use Remote Desktop by using Remote Desktop to connect to:
trainingtest.safe.com
The username is '
Administrator', the password is '
Remote Desktop test'
