FME crashes when reading ENTERPRISE data. The last line in the log file is similar to: INFORM|Enterprise Plugin: Opening the raster data index file for reading - 'R:\Case\C53000\C53163\From client ftp site\heights\index.txt'

Symptoms

FME crashes reading Aircom ENTERPRISE Map Data/ASSET Data. The last line in the log file is:

INFORM|Enterprise Plugin: Opening the raster data index file for reading -

'R:\Case\C53000\C53163\From client ftp site\heights\index.txt'

Cause

FME was treating a .bin file as a coverage file rather than a height file.

Resolution

The problem has been fixed in FME 2013 beta build 13029.
